Spam is any email you send to someone who hasn't give you their direct permission to contact them on the topic of the email.
All lists imported into NewsMAN must be permission based subscriptions. This means that users WANT to receive your email.

For newsletter and registration forms a double opt in (confirmed opt in) system is required before adding somebody to the list. This process implies the user gets an unique link by email, they have to click in order to confirm their email address.
To be short, anything which you don't have prior permission is NOT OK to send email with NewsMAN.

Every customer needs human aproval before being able to send any email with our system.
We're registered with all major ISPs and monitor all spam complaints. If the spam complain rate for a particular client goes over 0.25%, the account is terminated and no further emails will be allowed.
We also monitor all major black lists for any suspicious activities, our customers may do.
Since our policy is very strict to "isolate" each client from each other, any actions taken by one client will NOT affect at all other clients.
